Seemingly, the 2018 Toyota Corolla has received minimal number of changes. It has remained mostly unchanged after a complete overhaul in 2017. The notable difference we found from last year is barely noticeable: illuminated vanity mirrors on the sun visors and SE and XLE trims’ steering wheels now have a leather wrapped around them. With plenty of standard safety features and a reasonable price point, this is a solid commuter car for everyday errands.

The exterior has remained virtually identical from last year. It has remained bland for the most part but the hood sheet metal got some curvature going. People either love the giant gape in front that Toyota claims to be a grille or they hate it – there’s no middle ground here. All in all, the exterior is quite modest and compared to its serious competitions, 2018 Toyota Corolla is probably the least glamorous compact sedan.

The budget conscious built is very much evident in the interior quality. 2018 Toyota Corolla received a slight modification in the instrument panel and climate control but nothing to woo about. Front seats are roomy but the rear seats are a bit too tight for three. While the interior is functional and looks clean; you cannot help but notice the abundance of hard plastic. Enough cargo space for a shopping spree but too tight to fit luggage for a trip lasting more than seven days.

Under the Hood
